Kontora Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft was founded in December 2014 and received approval from the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) in June 2015. It is a subsidiary of Kontora Family Office GmbH – created out of a clear need: many of our clients expressed the desire to be able to bundle several investors in addition to receiving strategic advice and implementation.

An idea that convinced us. With the implementation of the European AIFM Directive into national law through the German Capital Investment Code (KAGB), we have established a fully regulated capital management company. Our aim is to supplement the proven family office model with a professional, independent implementation level in the form of our own asset and portfolio management. Today, we structure individual investment solutions, develop our own strategies, and enable strategic access to private markets—all from a single source, all under one roof.
